In the temporarily occupied Crimean city of Yevpatoriya, Russian forces have established a military stronghold in an abandoned multi-story building near the coastline. This information comes from the partisan movement Atesh .

According to the movement’s intelligence, the area has been secured by Russian forces, with positions set up for surveillance and gunfire. Military equipment and personnel were also spotted near the site.

Atesh highlights that the placement of military installations within civilian buildings in Crimea has become a systemic practice by the occupying forces. These actions are not solely focused on the defense of the peninsula, but also appear to involve the appropriation of properties for personal gain.

Earlier, Russian forces in Crimea began relocating military equipment and ammunition to outdated depots in response to intensified Ukrainian strikes. The Atesh group identified several sites in the northern Black Sea region, near Severne, where military hardware is being stored in non-operational facilities.
