Russian forces in Crimea are relocating military equipment and ammunition to outdated depots as a result of intensified strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to the Atesh , this move is part of the Russian forces response to the rising frequency of Ukrainian military operations targeting strategic locations on the peninsula.

The Atesh group reported that they had identified several sites in the Northern part of the Black Sea district, near the settlement of Severne, where ammunition and military hardware are being stored. These locations include old, non-operational depots that have not been in use for years. The shift to these depots is causing significant logistical challenges for the Russian forces.

In addition to moving equipment, the Russian forces are also using conscript soldiers to guard these newly identified storage sites. This indicates the urgency and ongoing efforts to secure the relocated military assets.

All gathered information regarding the positions of military equipment and personnel has already been forwarded to the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the report from Atesh stated.

Earlier, a drone strike targeted a military ammunition depot in Soldatskoye, Voronezh Region, Russia, destroying a stockpile of North Korean KN-23 missiles. The missiles, which were reportedly requested by Putin from Kim Jong Un, were destroyed in the attack.
