Russian forces launched an attack on a civilian educational building in Kharkiv, damaging the roof and causing a fire. The attack injured four people, including three women aged 51, 52, and 54, as well as an 89-year-old man, according to Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleh Synehubov’s post on September 16.

According to Synehubov, the targeted building had no connection to military or defense industries. “This is purely a civilian structure located in the city’s central area,” Synehubov emphasized. “The enemy’s clear intention was to harm as many innocent people as possible.”

“Today’s strike of Kharkiv is yet another manifestation of Russian terror against our peaceful population. The strike was carried out in broad daylight, not far from the city center,” he said.

“Four people were injured: three women aged 51, 52, and 54, and an 89-year-old man. All are in stable condition. Fortunately, no one was killed,” Synehubov continued and urged civilians to not ignore the dange warnings and air raid sirens.

Previously, it was reported that Russian forces had launched several attacks on Sumy region, targeting civilian transport, industrial areas, and residential neighborhoods, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Oleh Hryhorov reported.
