A Russian Ka-52 “Alligator” attack helicopter was destroyed along with its crew, according to Militarnyi on October 27.

The outlet, citing Russian military channels, reported that the aircraft was lost in combat operations over occupied territory, though the exact location was not specified.

The pro-Russian Telegram channel Fighterbomber, which is closely linked to Russian military aviation, confirmed the loss, writing that “the helicopter did not return from a combat mission, and the crew died.” The channel did not provide details about the cause of the crash.

Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat told Ukrainska Pravda earlier that the Ka-52 “remains one of the most dangerous enemy aircraft,” but also noted that “Ukraine’s mobile air defense groups are successfully hunting them.”

Earlier, it was reported that a Russian Ka-52 “Alligator” helicopter crashed with both pilots dead, with Russian sources claiming no enemy fire and the location undisclosed.
