Watch: Aftermath of Ukrainian HIMARS Strike on Russian Ka-52 Helicopters in Belgorod Region

New video footage has surfaced showing the aftermath of a Ukrainian HIMARS strike that destroyed four Russian helicopters at a field airstrip in Russia’s Belgorod region.
The video, reportedly filmed shortly after the March 24 strike, shows at least one Ka-52 helicopter engulfed in flames.

Smoke can be seen lingering over the site, with debris spread throughout the surrounding area. The helicopters appear to have been hit while parked on the ground, with fire and damage consistent with the use of M30A2 rockets equipped with tungsten steel pellets.
Personnel are seen moving toward the burning wreckage, suggesting the strike caught the aircraft during maintenance or rearming operations.
According to Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces, the operation was carried out in coordination with the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (HUR), Rocket Forces, and Artillery. Two Ka-52 attack helicopters and two Mi-8 transport helicopters were destroyed in the precision strike.
The appearance of the footage provides visual confirmation of the damage and reinforces earlier reports that the targeted airstrip may have been used as a temporary or active operational base by Russian forces.
Earlier, Ukraine’s 14th Separate UAV Brigade identified and targeted three North Korean-made Koksan self-propelled artillery systems in Russia’s Kursk region. Despite Russian attempts to shield the systems with improvised “grills,” a HIMARS strike using high-explosive and cluster munitions successfully destroyed the targets.
