Russian Missile Devastates Residential Building in Kryvyi Rih on Christmas Eve
On December 24, Russian missile strike targeted Kryvyi Rih, damaging a residential building, according to Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city’s Defense Council, in a Telegram post.
“Ballistics. These so-called ‘precision’ monsters struck a four-story residential building with 32 apartments. We are already on-site, and emergency services are working. Unfortunately, we are preparing for grim news,” Vilkul wrote.
Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, stated that preliminarily, five people have been injured, two of them rescued from under the rubble and receiving the necessary medical assistance.
Emergency services are assessing the damage, and efforts to assist those affected are ongoing.
As of 16:41, he number of injured has risen to six.
Two women, aged 69 and 72, and a 78-year-old man were hospitalized in moderate condition.
The remaining injured received medical assistance at the scene, according to Lysak.
Update: At least one person was killed and 15 others were injured in an attack on a residential building in Kryvyi Rih, according to Governor Serhii Lysak.
