On March 21, Russian forces launched attacks on Zaporizhzhia, Krasnopillia, and Rozhkovychi, resulting in multiple casualties, injuries, and significant damage to infrastructure.

In Zaporizhzhia, more than ten strikes hit the city, causing fires in residential buildings, private vehicles, and social infrastructure. The blast wave and debris damaged nearby houses.

“The attack caused fires, damaged homes and cars, and hit social infrastructure. The scale of destruction is significant,” said Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Head Ivan Fedorov.

According to Fedorov, two people, including a 20-year-old woman, lost their lives as rescue teams recovered their bodies from the rubble of a destroyed home.

The State Emergency Service (SES) clarified the aftermath of the Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia, reporting two deaths and four injuries.

“Rescuers extinguished fires at a restaurant covering 70 square meters, a cottage, a kindergarten, and a seventh-floor apartment in a nine-story building covering 30 square meters,” the SES reported.

It was noted that one private home was destroyed, and two others were damaged. Nearby buildings were also affected by the blast wave and debris.

In Krasnopillia, two people were killed, and two others were injured due to Russian strikes. Several administrative buildings and private homes were damaged or destroyed, according to the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

“This was a deliberate attack on civilian areas, causing death and destruction,” the prosecutor’s office stated.

In Rozhkovychi, around 16:00, an attack targeted a motorcycle moving through the village in the Shostka district. A 55-year-old driver and a 44-year-old passenger sustained injuries.

“The victims were simply traveling through their own village when they were hit,” the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported.

On March 20, Russian forces launched drone attacks on civilian infrastructure in Odesa, resulting in injuries.
