The 35-year-old woman is accused of attempting to covertly gather coordinates for Russian attacks by exploiting military personnel who frequented the store.

“To do this, the suspect built trustful relationships with them and then extracted the necessary information during casual conversations. In this way, the agent aimed to provide Russian intelligence with data on the location and strength of Ukrainian Defense Forces units near Kramatorsk,” stated the SBU.

The woman’s focus included collecting coordinates for defensive positions, mobile checkpoints, and Ukrainian artillery positions.

She also ventured into the frontline areas, marking coordinates of Ukrainian defenders on Google Maps, with the intent of aiding Russian missile strikes.

SBU counterintelligence officers uncovered the woman's activities and detained her. Upon searching her, a laptop and smartphone were found, which she used to coordinate her spy work with the Russian forces.

The investigation revealed that the woman had been recruited remotely by a Russian fighter, an acquaintance, who is engaged in combat against Ukraine on the eastern front.

Earlier, Ukraine’s Security Service officially informed a Russian national, known by the alias “Doctor Evil,” that he is under suspicion for war crimes committed against Ukrainian prisoners.
