Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) has reported the destruction of two high-value Russian radar systems in occupied Crimea.
According to HUR on December 14, fighters from the HUR special unit known as “Prymary” carried out precise strikes as part of ongoing operations on the occupied peninsulaon December 13. The operation resulted in the destruction of two Russian radar stations: the 39N6 “Kasta-2E2” and the 96L6 radar, which is part of the S-400 “Triumf” air defense system.

The intelligence agency said the strikes significantly weakened Russian surveillance and air defense capabilities in Crimea.
“The ‘eyes’ of Russia’s so-called ‘Triumf’ were torn out,” HUR said, referring to the role of the destroyed radars in controlling airspace over the peninsula.
Meanwhile, a Ukrainian drone bomber operated by Marine Corps units has knocked out a Russian 2S6 Tunguska self-propelled air defense system.
The strike was carried out by fighters from Lasar’s Group, a unit of Ukraine’s National Guard, with support from the Venom 34th Unmanned Systems Center of the 39th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade within the 30th Marine Corps.
The video shows a Ukrainian drone dropping a heavy munition onto the front of the Tunguska, causing a powerful explosion, followed by a second strike on the turret that triggered secondary blasts, likely from the air defense missiles mounted on the vehicle.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces reported that FP-2 strike drones were used overnight to hit a fuel and lubricants train along with several other Russian targets in the temporarily occupied parts of the Donetsk region and Crimea.
