“There Will Be Nothing Left of America”: Russian Politician Issues Nuclear Threats Against US

A Russian lawmaker has issued a stark threat against the United States, warning that there will be “nothing left” of America if it continues its support for Ukraine.
According to Newsweek, Andrei Gurulev, a deputy in Russia’s State Duma , made the comments during an appearance on the state-owned channel Russia-1, in response to reports that the Biden administration had approved the use of US-supplied missiles for strikes inside Russia.
Gurulev, a former deputy Commander of the Southern Military District of the Russian military, stated, “There will essentially be nothing left of America, which is trying to drag us into escalation. There will be no Biden or Trump. America is being inflicted with 95 percent total damage.”
He further added that Russia is prepared to target the nuclear capabilities of both the United Kingdom and France in response to US actions, saying, “This will be one of the options for deterring the United States from striking Russia.”
These remarks followed recent reports that the Biden administration that the Biden administration had given Ukraine permission to use the long-range ATACMS missiles supplied by the US to target deep inside Russian territory. Initially, the US had withheld this authorization, fearing it could escalate the war.
