Trump Hints at Imminent Deal, Possible Oval Office Meeting With Zelenskyy

On February 24, U.S. President Donald Trump suggested that an important agreement could be finalized soon, with a potential signing ceremony taking place at the Oval Office, where he is expected to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“In fact, he may come in this week or next week to sign the agreement, which would be nice. I’d love to meet him. Would meet at the Oval Office,” Trump stated.

Trump stated that negotiations are progressing. “The agreement is being worked on now,” he said.

He also suggested that discussions are approaching a conclusion.

“They are very close to a final deal,” he added.

Previously, U.S. President Donald Trump announced after his meeting at the White House with French President Emmanuel Macron that he is engaged in “serious negotiations” with Russian leader Vladimir Putin aimed at ending Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine.
