Tucker Carlson, the former Fox News host known for his polarizing views, has traveled to Moscow once again to interview Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Carlson wrote on his X on December 4.

Carlson announced the upcoming interview, promising it would be available “very soon.”

Carlson highlighted Lavrov’s status as the world’s longest-serving foreign minister and said the interview aimed to present “Russia’s perspective” on the ongoing war against Ukraine.

“Yesterday, we returned to Moscow to interview Russia’s Foreign Minister,” Carlson said.

He added that the conversation would provide insights into how Russia views the war that began in February 2022.

Previously, Carlson criticized US President Joe Biden’s administration, accusing it of bringing the United States closer to nuclear conflict with Russia.

He condemned Biden’s recent decision to allow Ukraine to use American-made weapons to strike targets inside Russia, claiming it was a dangerous escalation.

“The Biden administration is bringing us closer to nuclear war than ever before in history,” Carlson said, echoing Kremlin narratives about the war.

Carlson already visited Moscow to film an interview with Russian dictator Putin in February 2024.

After that, Carlson visited Lex Fridman’s podcast, where he described his impressions of his interview with Putin and admitted that the Kremlin is trying to demonize Ukrainians by calling them Nazis.

“I thought it was one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard. I didn’t understand what it meant. Denazification? I’m merely saying there isn’t a Nazi movement in 2024. It’s a way of calling people evil. Calling them [Ukrainians] Nazis, I thought it was childish,” he said at the time.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy agreed to participate in a three-hour podcast with Lex Fridman, a podcast host known for his long-form interviews on science, politics, and culture.
