The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has destroyed 1,676 Russian drones since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, with the majority being reconnaissance models, including “Superkam,” “Zala,” “Orlan,” and others as announced via Telegram on February 26.

“The cost of each of these reconnaissance drones is over $100,000. However, we have developed FPV aircraft costing $700 and above, which effectively destroys such drones,” said SBU Head Vasyl Malyuk at the “Ukraine. 2025” forum.

Additionally, SBU soldiers have neutralized Russian strike drones, including the “Lancet” model. These actions prevent Russian drones from transmitting coordinates for missiles, adjusting Russian artillery, or targeting Ukrainian positions.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia has launched over 51,000 glide aerial bombs against Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
