Ukraine Destroys Russia’s 'Zyklon' Cruise Missile Carrier in Sevastopol

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed the destruction of the Russian missile ship "Zyklon" of Project 22800 in Sevastopol.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine hit the ship on the night of May 19.

Thus, the Russian Federation loses the last carrier of cruise missiles in the Black Sea.

On the same day, on May 19, the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed a sea minesweeper of the Russian Navy of the project 266-M "Kovrovets". It was reported by the press service of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The "Kovrovets" is a Russian sea minesweeper engineered for ship and vessel trawling, reconnaissance, control trawling, fairway laying in minefields, and participation in remote-zone mine laying.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the Ukrainian forces have successfully destroyed 26 ships and boats belonging to the Russian Federation since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
