Ukraine’s Defense Ministry has announced the launch of Mission Control, a revolutionary project aimed at centralizing drone operations within a unified digital system, Ukraine’s newly appointed Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov reported on January 23.

The system, integrated into the DELTA battle ecosystem, will allow real-time tracking of drone missions, offering commanders full oversight of operational effectiveness without the need for manual paper reports or bureaucracy.

Fedorov explained that the Mission Control system will enable crews to input critical data such as drone type, launch points, routes, and objectives. This data will be automatically processed, providing commanders with accurate, up-to-date information on mission performance.

Ukraine has recently implemented a fully automated system for distributing drones (UAVs) to military units, significantly accelerating delivery times and improving operational planning.

The initiative is part of Ukraine’s effort to improve military efficiency by replacing outdated reporting processes. Fedorov also highlighted that the next step will be to implement a similar system for artillery, further streamlining operations and speeding up decision-making processes.

This project, developed under Ukraine’s Brave1 platform, moves away from fragmented data to a structured, technology-driven approach. It marks a significant change toward a more systematic and effective way of conducting warfare, where decisions are based on precise data rather than intuition.

“This is the new logic of war: to fight systematically, technologically, and effectively, while preserving the lives of our military personnel,” Fedorov wrote.

Previously, it was reported that Ukraine intends to sharply increase the cost of the war for Russia in an effort to force Moscow toward peace.

Speaking to the media, Fedorov framed Ukraine’s strategy as a parallel track to diplomacy—one designed to apply sustained military pressure while negotiations continue elsewhere.
