Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense has confirmed a new delivery of critical equipment from the IT Coalition, worth around $11 million and funded by Luxembourg, Ireland, Belgium, and Estonia. The supplies arrived in July and August, strengthening the digital backbone of Ukraine’s Armed Forces.

According to the Ministry of Defense on August 19, the latest delivery from the IT Coalition provides Ukraine’s Armed Forces with a wide range of essential digital equipment. Among the supplies are 6,948 laptops designated for frontline units, as well as for the Obereg, Impulse, and Medical Information Systems. To support these devices, the package also includes 318 charging stations and 2,304 communication devices, alongside 442 monitors.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces will receive new equipment for their data centers, as well as network hardware to strengthen the Obereg information and communication system. The shipment further contains routers, switches, licenses, and other tools necessary for the expansion of software-defined networks across Ukraine’s defense infrastructure.

Latvia also contributed with a separate shipment of 1,000 routers valued at over $83,000.

This marks the fourth and fifth deliveries from the IT Coalition in 2025. Earlier this year, Ukraine received $3.6 million worth of equipment in January from Estonia, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, followed by $8.15 million in February and nearly $2 million in April.

“Thanks to the new delivery from the IT Coalition countries, we will be able to provide technical support for the Armed Forces units where digital products and services are being implemented. I thank our partners for strengthening our technological capabilities,” said Oksana Ferchuk, Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization.

Earlier, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced that starting next week, Ukraine will roll out several large-scale grant programs to support domestic production of explosives, autonomous drones, and a range of rocket systems.
