Ukraine Strikes Russian Ammo Depots, Fuel Storage, and Air Defense in Occupied Luhansk and Donetsk

On the night of December 8, Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out a series of successful strikes on Russian military targets in temporarily occupied territories.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the objective was to reduce the Russia’s logistical and combat capabilities. In the Chmyrivka area of temporarily occupied Luhansk, an ammunition depot was hit, and a Russian drone storage facility near occupied Donetsk was also destroyed.

Additionally, in the Sіmeykyne area of Luhansk, Ukrainian forces targeted and struck a fuel and lubricants storage, significantly impacting the Russia’s ability to supply fuel to their troops.
Furthermore, to weaken Russia’s air defense, a mobile fire group and the Pantsir-S1 air defense system were hit in Donetsk region. The extent of the damage is still being verified.
Meanwhile, massive fires erupted at the port of Temryuk following drone strikes, Russian outlet Astra reported. OSINT communities Exilenova+ and Supernova+ shared footage of impact on December 5.

The drone attack on the Temryuk seaport, located in the Temryuk Bay of the Azov Sea on the Taman Peninsula in Russia's Krasnodar region, was reported shortly after midnight. Videos taken by local residents show a large fire consuming the port's infrastructure. Local authorities confirmed the strike and the damage caused to the port.
“As a result of the UAV attack… elements of port infrastructure in Temryuk were damaged. A fire occurred… 32 specialists and 8 units of equipment were deployed to extinguish it. Emergency services are working at the site,” the regional emergency response headquarters said, as reported by Militarnyi.
Earlier, it was reported that Ukrainian drone strike destroyed at least two fuel storage tanks at the Livny oil depot in Russia’s Oryol region.
