“If Ukraine does not receive the appropriate tranche in the spring, which, in the case of peace, Ukraine will use for the restoration of our state, and in the case of continued war, Ukraine will use it for the next priorities, primarily drone production. If this tranche does not arrive, Ukraine will have to reduce drone production significantly,” Zelenskyy explained.
He further added that Ukraine would be compelled to scale back the production of affordable combat drones by several times. Long-range capabilities would also see a reduction.

“If we are currently using our long-range capabilities, and they are working as expected, we are also working with our European and American partners on sanctions packages targeting Russia’s energy sector. But we are doing everything we can on our side to reduce Russia’s energy resources. All of this simply will not exist,” the president emphasized.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the United States had not yet delivered an official response to Ukraine’s updated peace proposals, adding that he was preparing to engage with US counterparts later that day.
Zelenskyy noted that he had “heard a few messages” and that his negotiating team had conveyed “all the signals,” saying he was ready to move forward with peace talks.
