Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SSO) have conducted a targeted raid near the city of Pokrovsk, successfully neutralizing Russian personnel and facilitating the evacuation of wounded Ukrainian infantry using a robotic platform.
The operation was carried out by the 3rd Separate Regiment of the SSO, according to official video and statements released via the SSO’s Telegram channel on November 24 and 25.
The SSO raid targeted Russian positions that were obstructing the evacuation of wounded Ukrainian soldiers. During the operation, two Russian troops were killed, and a third surrendered to Ukrainian forces. The Ukrainian unit, identified in the footage as SWORD GROUP, used terrain and weather conditions to maneuver into the combat zone.
The Ukrainian SSO provided a detailed account of the engagement through its official channels, including footage showing the sequence of the raid and the subsequent extraction. According to the SSO, “The combination of unit preparation and modern technologies ensures tactical superiority over the enemy and consistent success.”
The surrendered Russian soldier was given immediate medical assistance and evacuated from the battlefield. The most critical phase of the mission involved extracting three wounded Ukrainian infantrymen, whose position was under enemy fire.

The evacuation was conducted using a ground-based robotic complex, a system now routinely used by Ukrainian special operations units at the front line.
The robotic system enabled the team to retrieve the wounded without sustaining additional casualties.
Earlier, Russian soldiers shared a video online showing their movement toward Pokrovsk along the E50 highway—prompting Ukrainian forces to launch a series of precise airstrikes on the same route. The strike destroyed part of the convoy, with a Russian military blogger later confirming casualties caused by the leaked footage.
