Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Sybiha Visits Hungary for Bilateral Talks on EU and NATO Integration
Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrii Sybiha, has arrived in Budapest for a working visit. This visit is conducted under the instruction of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and is part of Sybiha’s broader regional diplomatic efforts.
During the visit, Sybiha will hold bilateral talks with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs Péter Szijjártó. According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), key topics for discussion include the development of good-neighborly relations, the implementation of joint projects in areas such as economic cooperation, border infrastructure, and the protection of national minority rights. Additionally, the ministers are expected to address Ukraine’s ongoing efforts toward integration into the European Union and NATO.
One significant item on the agenda is the “Peace Formula,” which outlines Ukraine’s vision for the just resolution of the ongoing Russian aggression. This diplomatic initiative remains a central focus of Ukraine’s foreign policy as it seeks to build support among neighboring countries and advance its path toward full EU and NATO membership.
The visit to Hungary follows the recent diplomatic efforts by Sybiha in Romania, reinforcing Ukraine’s regional relationships. Sybiha’s goal is to establish a pragmatic and predictable neighborhood policy that strengthens ties with key regional actors while maintaining focus on Ukraine’s strategic objectives.
