On September 5, Ukraine’s Pavlo Bal from Lviv became the bronze medalist of the Paralympic Games in Paris. Bal finished third in the men's H5 road race at a distance of 56.8 km. This is Pavel's debut at the Paralympics.

Pavlo Bal is a Master of Sports of Ukraine of the international class in cross-country skiing and a Master of Sports of Ukraine in para-cycling.

As of 5 pm (GMT+3), September 5, Ukraine has earned 54 medals in total, 14 gold, 18 silver, and 22 bronze, placing it at the 7th place in the Paralympics medal table.
