Operators from the 413th Separate Battalion of Unmanned Systems ‘Raid’ spotted and destroyed the Russian ‘Osa’ surface-to-air missile system using a drone in one of the main directions, the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) reported on Telegram on February 4.

“The Osa surface-to-air missile system (9K33/SA-8 Gecko) is a mobile short-range air defense system designed to protect Russian military units and strategic objects from airstrikes, cruise missiles, and UAVs,” the USF wrote.

On January 31, the Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Unmanned Systems confirmed the use of a long-range UAV capable of carrying a 250-kilogram bomb and reaching distances of up to 2,000 kilometers with the ability to return.
