Ukrainian Drone Companies Featured in Defense Post’s Top 100 Ranking

Several Ukrainian companies have been included in The Defense Post’s recent list of the world’s top 100 firms developing drone technologies across air, land, and sea.
The ranking highlights companies recognized for their innovation, influence, and leadership in the fast-evolving defense sector.
Based on an independent assessment of global drone manufacturers, the list focuses on drone-related revenue and contributions to autonomous defense technologies.
Criteria considered annual revenue, investments in research and development, growth dynamics, and the promise of innovative solutions.

Companies owned or controlled by governments over 50%, those with unclear ownership, and those subject to sanctions were excluded. Firms connected to the Russian government were also omitted, regardless of their capabilities.
Among those featured are Ukrainian firms such as TAF Drones, ranked 22nd for their FPV drones, reconnaissance UAVs, and electronic warfare systems; Ukrspecsystems, placed 65th, specializing in drones and military electronics; and Airlogix, ranked 84th, known for its “HOR” unmanned aviation complex designed for reconnaissance and artillery targeting. This drone can stay airborne for 2 to 2.5 hours, has a flight range of 150 km, and maintains control and communication within 30 to 40 km.
Previously, it was reported that Ukrainian interceptor drones have destroyed more than 2,000 Russian unmanned aerial vehicles, including at least 17 Shaheds, as part of the Dronopad initiative launched by the foundation Come Back Alive.
