Ukraine Strikes Two Russian Pantsir-S1 Systems and Aircraft Engine Parts Plant

Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a series of Russian military targets and a defense-industrial facility across several regions and Russian-occupied territories, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
According to the General Staff, Ukrainian forces targeted two Russian Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery systems in Taganrog, Rostov region.

In Russia’s Bryansk region, Ukrainian forces destroyed a Russian radar station near the settlement of Berezki.
The strikes also targeted Russian military infrastructure in occupied Ukrainian territories. In temporarily occupied Donetsk, Ukrainian forces hit a facility used to store, prepare, and launch attack drones.
In Petropavlivka, Russian-occupied Luhansk region, the Defense Forces struck a training center for FPV drone operators as well as a unit of Russia’s Akhmat formation.
Another strike targeted the Snizhne Machine-Building Plant in temporarily occupied Donetsk region, a facility used by Russia’s defense-industrial complex.
According to the General Staff, the plant produces components for gas turbine engines, including compressor and turbine disks and blades. The facility supports Russia’s defense industry by manufacturing military-related products, including parts used in aircraft engines.
The strikes come as Ukrainian forces continue targeting Russian military equipment and infrastructure across different sectors of the frontline. On September 11, Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service reported that its drone operators had destroyed a Russian BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system, along with armored and transport vehicles, ammunition depots, and other military assets in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna sector.
According to the agency, operators from its Prime unmanned systems unit carried out strikes against multiple Russian positions and pieces of equipment during recent operations in the area.
