Ukrainian forces neutralized 748 Russian tanks and 1,609 armored combat vehicles across all front lines since the beginning of the year, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky said.
Russian personnel losses in Ukraine surpassed 900,000, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi announced on Telegram on March 21.
Since the beginning of 2024 alone, losses have exceeded 540,000. Syrskyi credited the coordinated efforts of Ukrainian defenders for these results.
Russian forces have lost more than 540,000 personnel. “Thanks to the professional combat work of all components of Ukraine’s Defense Forces, the enemy’s total losses in personnel have surpassed 900,000,” Syrskyi said.
He also expressed gratitude to those supporting Ukraine’s defense.
Earlier, the Ukrainian military received its first domestically produced Bohdana-B towed 155mm howitzer, designed as a cost-effective, durable alternative to self-propelled systems, the 47th Artillery Brigade reported on March 24.
