Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has approved the use of the remotely operated combat module “ShaBlya MK19(M)” for grenade launchers in military service. The system can be deployed on vehicles or ground-based drones.

This was reported to Militarnyi by the developers of the remote-controlled module on June 10.

The developers of the original remote-controlled turret have now unveiled a modified platform specifically engineered for the 40mm MK19 automatic grenade launcher. This innovation promises to deliver accurate and sustained firepower.

This adaptable platform is designed for seamless integration with both ground robotic systems and various vehicles, significantly boosting their offensive capabilities. It's also remarkably efficient, requiring only one or two operators.

The turret itself boasts an impressive 165° firing arc and a vertical aiming range from -5° to +65°. This versatility allows for both direct engagement and indirect fire, even from covered positions using precise coordinates. Its advanced software includes an integrated ballistic calculator for pinpoint targeting.

Operators can mark targets on a digital map, and the system will automatically track them, adjusting its aim as needed. Additional features empower users to configure fire sectors, select firing modes, and perform "hot zeroing" for immediate readiness. The observation and targeting cameras also come equipped with digital zoom for enhanced visibility.

According to its creators, this solution is set to significantly enhance the combat effectiveness of Ukraine's Defense Forces in demanding combat situations. By providing reliable fire control even in complex battlefield conditions, the official codification of the system paves the way for systematic front-line deployment and integration into existing combat platforms.

Earlier, French automotive giant Renault is reportedly preparing to launch drone production in Ukraine. This strategic move aims to establish UAV manufacturing lines within dozens to several hundred kilometers of the front line.

The initiative will be a collaborative effort, involving French small and medium-sized defense enterprises alongside local Ukrainian partners. This partnership underscores a growing international commitment to bolstering Ukraine's defense capabilities through in-country production.
