Ukrainian Forces Strike Russian Buk-M3 Air-Defense and Destroy Buk-M2 Radar Guidance System
The Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a Buk-M3 air defense system and destroyed a radar station for Buk-M2 of the Russian forces.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On the night of October 25, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces hit the Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile system and destroyed the radar station for missile guidance and target illumination 9S36 of Buk-M2 air defense system.
“The targets were located in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region, tens of kilometers from the combat line,” the General Staff wrote.
Earlier, on October 21, the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed a Buk-M3 air defense system of the Russian forces, which is valued at up to $50 million.
According to the General Staff, as of October 25, the Ukrainian Forces have destroyed 982 anti-aircraft warfare systems of the Russian forces.
