On October 9, Ukraine's Defense Forces successfully targeted a drone storage facility near the village of Oktyabrsky in Russia's Krasnodar region, where Iranian-made Shahed drones were reportedly stored.

This was stated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"According to the available information, about 400 attack drones were stored there. Objective control confirmed a precise hit on the target, and secondary explosions were observed at the site," the General Staff wrote.

The General Staff added that the destruction of the Shahed UAV storage base would significantly reduce the ability of the Russian forces to terrorize the Ukrainian civilians.

Ukrainian forces has been consistently launching drone strikes on Russian military targets. A major oil depot in temporarily occupied Feodosia, Crimea has been burning for three consecutive days following a successful strike by Ukrainian forces on October 7.
