A Ukrainian Air Force MiG-29 fighter jet has conducted a precision strike on a Russian company command post in the Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in the destruction of the facility and the elimination of Russian personnel stationed there.

The operation, documented in video footage published by the Telegram channel “Sonyashnyk,” shows a Ukrainian MiG-29 deploying an American-made GBU-62 guided bomb, equipped with the JDAM-ER (Joint Direct Attack Munition – Extended Range) kit.

This system increases both the stand-off range and the accuracy of aerial munitions, allowing the aircraft to strike from a safe distance and achieve precise targeting.

According to open-source researchers from the WarArchive Telegram channel, the strike took place in the village of Kamianske, Zaporizhzhia region.

The targeted building, used by Russian forces as a company command post and personnel gathering point, was completely destroyed by the detonation. Ukrainian reconnaissance drones monitored the strike and confirmed the results on site.

The “Sonyashnyk” channel reported that Russian forces had concentrated troops and equipment at the location, operating under the assumption that small groups could move undetected.

Ukrainian intelligence identified the buildup and quickly relayed the information to the Air Force, which responded with the precision airstrike.

Earlier in June, a Ukrainian MiG-29 conducted a precision strike with guided bombs on a Russian UAV operator control center and an ammunition depot in the Zaporizhzhia sector, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

The operation supported ground forces in the area. In a separate incident, the “Chornyi Lis” Brigade spotted a rare Russian 2S7 Pion artillery system, which was later destroyed by Ukrainian artillery.
