Ukrainian Paratroopers Rescue Wounded Comrade Under Fire After Russian Guided Bomb Attack

Ukrainian airborne troops released footage showing the evacuation of a wounded comrade from a frontline position hit by a Russian guided bomb, according to Telegram channel of Ukraine’s Air Assault Forces Command on October 28.

The video, reportedly filmed by a foreign volunteer serving with the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade “Sicheslav,” captures Ukrainian soldiers advancing toward a damaged position, extracting their wounded comrade from debris, and retreating under continuous enemy fire.

The paratroopers operated with coordinated precision—calculating their route, providing drone cover, and completing the evacuation despite active shelling.

“Everything happens in the very epicenter of battle, where every second determines fate and coordination means survival,” the description of the video reads.

The 25th Airborne Brigade, based in Dnipro region, has been actively engaged in defensive and counteroffensive operations along several front sectors since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. Its troops have been repeatedly involved in complex evacuation and rescue missions under combat conditions.

Earlier, soldiers from Ukraine’s 79th Air Assault Brigade used a captured Russian motorcycle to evacuate wounded comrades under fire, after repelling an enemy group that had breached Ukrainian lines near the front.
