Ukrainian resistance group Atesh  reported destroying a vehicle used by Russian drone operators for military missions in the occupied Henichesk district of the Kherson region.

According to the group, the targeted vehicle belonged to a Russian UAV team and was equipped with electronic warfare systems.

During surveillance, Atesh agents observed that Russian forces were hiding equipment on private property and living in civilian homes to avoid detection.

“With Russian forces already facing a severe shortage of equipment, this strike will likely prevent the team from resuming operations anytime soon,” Atesh wrote on their Telegram channel. “And civilians on the right bank of Kherson can breathe a little easier.”

On May 16, it was reported that a series of explosions and fires broke out overnight in occupied Crimea following a reported drone strike on Russian military infrastructure near the village of Perevalne.

According to Crimean Wind, an ammunition depot belonging to the 126th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet caught fire during the attack.
