The UN has confirmed that its representatives will attend the peace summit in Switzerland this June, according to Deputy Spokesperson Farhan Haq during a press briefing on June 3.

Haq stated, commenting on the issue of Russia’s attempts to disrupt the peace summit: “The UN will participate in the summit, and closer to the date of the event, the organization will inform who exactly will represent it.”

Previously, in April, President Zelenskyy had already warned about Russia’s plans to undermine the upcoming Summit, reminding that the Summit is the first real diplomatic step in all the years of war, despite past attempts.

Earlier, the Office of the President of Ukraine had announced that 107 countries and organizations have confirmed their participation in the upcoming Summit on Peace for Ukraine in Switzerland, including Kamala Harris as a representative from the US.
