The main system is the AGM-188A Rusty Dagger. This 500-pound missile can fly over 580 miles using a small jet engine. It was built specifically for Ukraine to provide a long-range weapon that is easier to make in large numbers than older, more expensive models, based on the project’s technical details.

The military also named the AGM-189A Barracuda-500. This missile can travel 560 miles and is meant to be a low-cost version of the famous Tomahawk. Another new weapon is the AGM-190A Black Arrow, which is very light but can still hit targets 460 miles away. It is designed to be launched from drones or small planes, as shown in the new military lists.

The US military has created a new “H” category specifically for hypersonic weapons like the AHM-4A HACM.

This missile flies five times faster than sound and can reach targets 1,100 miles away. Assigning these weapons official names indicates they are moving closer to being used in actual combat operations.

Earlier, reports emerged that Ukraine has successfully tested the Shershen, a new multi-caliber air defense system designed for maximum flexibility. Revealed at the World Defense Show 2026, the system has already validated five different missile types, ranging from Soviet-era stocks to modern Western designs.

Unlike traditional systems that rely on specific manufacturers, the Shershen can be adapted to various radars and interceptors, offering a solution that is significantly cheaper and less dependent on a single supplier.
