On March 11, The United States resumed intelligence sharing and security assistance to Ukraine, according to a joint statement published on the website of the President of Ukraine following discussions between U.S. and Ukrainian delegations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Alongside security matters, the delegations also discussed humanitarian efforts as part of the broader peace process. Topics included the exchange of prisoners of war, the release of detained civilians, and the return of forcibly displaced Ukrainian children.

"Humanitarian efforts are a crucial part of the peace process, particularly during the proposed ceasefire period," the statement noted.

On the same date, Ukraine expressed its readiness to consider a U.S.-proposed 30-day temporary ceasefire, which could be extended by mutual agreement if Russia also agrees and implements the terms simultaneously.
