Zelenskyy: North Korea Has De Facto Joined Russia’s War Against Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has referenced intelligence reports indicating North Korea’s de facto involvement in the ongoing war.
“I held a meeting of the High Command. Several issues were discussed. Among the main topics was a report from the intelligence services — the Foreign Intelligence Service and the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine — regarding Russia’s plans for the fall-winter period. Everything was quite detailed. North Korea has, in fact, entered the war.” — Zelenskyy said.
“Whoever assists Russia, we will respond as harshly as necessary to protect Ukraine. We will also work with our partners to ensure Russia’s plans fail. And this is possible. That’s exactly how it will be.” — he added.
In a announcement, Zelenskyy stated that this week, a strategy aimed at compelling Russia to reach a just conclusion to the war will be presented to all European partners. He emphasized the importance of this plan, noting, “Of course, the Victory Plan will be presented publicly. It will also include the initial responses we have received from our partners.”
Additionally, Zelenskyy referred to a report by Oleksandr Kamyshyn, revealing that, to date, one million drones have been procured using state funds and deployed to the front lines. He underscored that this figure represents only what the government has achieved, stating, “There are also supplies from volunteers and all those who support us.”
