Zelenskyy Tells Russia Exactly Where to Go During Scholz Press Conference in Kyiv
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy delivered a blunt message to Moscow during a joint press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, according to a report by RBC-Ukraine on December 2.
When asked about Russia’s role in potential negotiations, President Zelenskyy offered a tongue-in-cheek response: “Preferably, to three letters,” referencing a Ukrainian expression that translates to “go fuck off.”
The comment drew both laughter and applause from the audience.
“It is desirable that Russia understood that it is doing what it is doing – killing us, and we are defending ourselves and fighting the enemy, and so far our plans have not changed. Of course, we very much want to be stronger so that in 2025 this war will end,” the president said.
Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz made a surprise visit to Kyiv, marking his first trip to the Ukrainian capital in over two and a half years. He announced that Berlin would deliver $684 million (€650 million) worth of weapons to Ukraine by the end of December.
