Ukraine’s 429th Achilles Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade disabled a Russian 2S19 Msta-S self-propelled howitzer with several FPV drone strikes, the brigade reported on November 3.

“Despite careful camouflage, the enemy failed to remain unnoticed,” the brigade stated. “This time, the crew of the 429th Achilles Brigade disabled another enemy 2S19 Msta-S with several precise FPV strikes.”

The 2S19 Msta-S is a Russian 152 mm tracked self-propelled howitzer designed to provide mobile artillery support. It can engage targets at roughly 25 kilometers with standard ammunition and farther with specialized projectiles, while carrying about 50 rounds and operating with a crew of five.

“We act like in boxing—first we strike with the left, then skillfully finish with the right for the knockout,” the brigade added.

The strike follows other long-range attacks carried out by the 429th Achilles Brigade against Russian military systems. In September, the unit struck a Russian Nebo-M long-range radar near the Millerovo airfield in Russia’s Rostov region with a RAM-2X drone, at a distance of about 175 kilometers from the front line.
