Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,190 Troops, 1 Tank, and 100 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost another 1,190 troops, 100 artillery systems, and more than 1,700 tactical UAVs over the past day, while the number of frontline clashes reached 268, Ukraine’s military said.
Russian forces lost another 1,190 troops, one tank, six armored combat vehicles, and 100 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on July 4.

According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,408,340.
Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of one multiple launch rocket system, six air defense systems, six ground robotic systems, 1,768 operational-tactical UAVs, one cruise missile, 407 vehicles and fuel tankers, and five pieces of special equipment over the past day.

Overall Russian losses reported by Ukraine now include 12,074 tanks, 24,869 armored combat vehicles, 45,325 artillery systems, 1,913 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,469 air defense systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 1,815 ground robotic systems, 389,110 operational-tactical UAVs, 4,847 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 115,644 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,385 pieces of special equipment.
Ukraine’s General Staff said 268 combat engagements took place between Ukrainian and Russian forces over the past day, with the heaviest fighting reported in the Kostiantynivka sector, where Russian forces launched 27 assaults.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces reported a 1,150% increase in deep strikes inside Russia since the beginning of 2026. According to Commander Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, Ukrainian drone operators carried out 2,359 long-range strike missions in June, hitting 172 military-industrial and energy facilities located 500–2,000 kilometers inside Russian territory.
