Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,210 Troops, 2 Tanks, and 71 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost another 1,210 troops, two tanks, five armored combat vehicles, and 71 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on July 1.

According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,404,760.

Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of two multiple launch rocket systems, four air defense systems, five ground robotic systems, 1,891 operational-tactical UAVs, 395 vehicles and fuel tankers, and one piece of special equipment over the past day.

Overall Russian losses reported by Ukraine now include 12,069 tanks, 24,856 armored combat vehicles, 45,111 artillery systems, 1,903 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,459 air defense systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 1,782 ground robotic systems, 383,067 operational-tactical UAVs, 4,797 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 114,499 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,369 pieces of special equipment.

Ukraine’s General Staff said 256 combat engagements were recorded along the front line over the past day. Russian forces were most active in the Pokrovsk direction, where they launched 31 attacks.

Over the past day, Russia carried out one missile strike using one missile and launched 81 airstrikes, dropping 246 guided aerial bombs.

Russian forces also used 9,801 attack drones and conducted 3,083 strikes on settlements and Ukrainian military positions, including 47 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.

Ukraine’s aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck five areas where Russian manpower was concentrated, five artillery systems, one depot, six UAV command posts, and one other important Russian target.

Previous reports by Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces say their operators have struck 194 elements of Russia’s integrated air defense network since the start of 2026, including 31 targets in June alone.
