Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,240 Troops, 1 Tank, and 88 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost another 1,240 troops, one tank, and 88 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on June 20.
According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,390,660.

Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of four armored combat vehicles, two multiple launch rocket systems, one air defense system, seven ground robotic systems, 2,246 operational-tactical UAVs, 476 vehicles and fuel tankers, and five pieces of special equipment over the past day.
Overall Russian losses reported by Ukraine now include 12,041 tanks, 24,787 armored combat vehicles, 44,386 artillery systems, 1,883 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,433 air defense systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 361,803 operational-tactical UAVs, 4,787 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 109,342 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,314 pieces of special equipment.
The General Staff added that 131 combat engagements were recorded along the front line over the past day.
Russian forces also carried out 45 airstrikes, dropping 132 guided aerial bombs, while launching 2,087 suicide drones and conducting 1,341 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, according to the evening operational update.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces (SBS) reported a coordinated series of long-range drone strikes targeting Russian military, logistics, surveillance, and energy infrastructure across temporarily occupied Crimea, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk regions, including the Hlibivske underground gas storage facility, radar systems, fuel supply assets, and military command positions.
