Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,410 Troops and 50 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost another 1,410 troops, four tanks, and 50 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on June 1.
According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,365,470.

Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of two armored combat vehicles, one multiple launch rocket system, nine ground robotic systems, 1,852 operational-tactical drones, 384 vehicles and fuel tankers, and five pieces of special equipment over the past day.
Overall, Russian equipment losses reported by Ukraine now include 11,966 tanks, 24,659 armored combat vehicles, 43,037 artillery systems, 1,820 multiple launch rocket systems, and 1,399 air defense systems.

Among other losses, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 322,179 operational-tactical drones, 4,693 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 101,621 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,239 pieces of special equipment were recorded.
The General Staff added that 276 combat engagements took place along the front line over the past day as Ukrainian Defense Forces continued to repel Russian attacks across multiple sectors.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia began losing the battlefield initiative in December 2025 and argued that Ukraine and its partners now have a window to push for diplomacy before next winter, while keeping strong sanctions pressure on Moscow.
