Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,440 Troops, 3 Tanks, and 75 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost another 1,440 troops, three tanks, and 75 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on June 2.
According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,366,910.

Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of seven armored combat vehicles, one multiple launch rocket system, one air defense system, 14 ground robotic systems, 1,583 operational-tactical drones, 517 vehicles and fuel tankers, and two pieces of special equipment over the past day.

Overall Russian equipment losses reported by Ukraine now include 11,969 tanks, 24,666 armored combat vehicles, 43,112 artillery systems, 1,821 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,400 air defense systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 323,762 operational-tactical drones, 4,693 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 102,138 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,241 pieces of special equipment.
The General Staff added that 249 combat engagements were recorded along the front line over the past day as Ukrainian Defense Forces continued to repel Russian attacks across multiple sectors.
Earlier, reports emerged that the UK intelligence chief confirmed “almost half a million Russian soldiers” have been killed since the full-scale invasion began in 2022.
