Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,450 Troops, 7 Tanks, and 78 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost another 1,450 troops, seven tanks, 11 armored combat vehicles, and 78 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on July 25.

Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since launching its full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have now reached approximately 1,437,550 troops killed or wounded.
Ukraine also reported the destruction of two air defense systems, 17 UGVs, 1,596 operational-tactical UAVs, five cruise missiles, 571 vehicles and fuel tankers, and eight pieces of special equipment over the past day.
Russia’s cumulative equipment losses now stand at 12,208 tanks, 25,011 armored combat vehicles, 46,724 artillery systems, 1,968 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,518 air defense systems, 439 aircraft, 354 helicopters, 2,023 UGVs, 426,836 operational-tactical UAVs, 4,943 cruise missiles, 34 ships and boats, two submarines, 125,358 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,462 pieces of special equipment.

Ukraine’s General Staff recorded 230 combat engagements between Ukrainian and Russian forces over the past day.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelled one of Russia’s largest recent armored assaults in the Dobropillia direction, destroying nine tanks, two armored vehicles, and three BM-21 Grad multiple-launch rocket systems, according to Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service. Combat footage released by the agency showed Russian armored vehicles burning across fields and tree lines after the failed assault.
