Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,710 Troops, 96 Artillery Systems, and 1,445 UAVs in One Day

Ukraine’s General Staff reported on September 26 that Russian forces sustained an estimated 1,710 personnel losses over the previous day, bringing their total estimated losses since the start of the full-scale invasion to approximately 1,527,280.

According to the latest figures, Ukrainian forces also destroyed 96 Russian artillery systems and 1,445 operational-tactical UAVs over the same 24-hour period.

Russia’s other reported equipment losses included seven tanks, 20 armored combat vehicles, three multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS), four air defense systems, 576 vehicles and fuel tankers, 12 unmanned ground vehicles, and eight pieces of special equipment.

Following the latest update, Russia’s total estimated equipment losses since February 24, 2022, stand at 12,376 tanks, 25,435 armored combat vehicles, 50,371 artillery systems, 2,160 MLRS, 1,673 air defense systems, and 534,020 operational-tactical UAVs.

The cumulative figures also include 443 aircraft, 356 helicopters, 5,118 cruise missiles, 35 ships and boats, and two submarines. Russia is additionally estimated to have lost 153,728 vehicles and fuel tankers, 2,748 unmanned ground vehicles, and 4,749 pieces of special equipment.

The updated losses were recorded amid continued intense fighting, with 205 combat engagements reported along the front line during the previous 24 hours.

Earlier, the ATESH partisan movement reported destroying a warehouse containing Russian drones in the Sverdlovsk region that were being prepared for deployment to the front.
