Russia Loses 1,490 Troops, 8 Tanks, and 74 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost another 1,490 troops, eight tanks, and 74 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on July 11.

According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,417,770.

Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of 10 armored combat vehicles, one multiple launch rocket system, four air defense systems, three ground robotic systems, 1,294 operational-tactical UAVs, and 361 vehicles and fuel tankers over the past day.

Overall Russian losses reported by Ukraine now include 12,116 tanks, 24,922 armored combat vehicles, 45,754 artillery systems, 1,924 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,485 air defense systems, 437 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 1,868 ground robotic systems, 400,631 operational-tactical UAVs, 4,887 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 118,610 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,402 pieces of special equipment.

Ukraine’s General Staff said 261 combat engagements were recorded along the front line over the past day, with the heaviest fighting in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 38 Russian assaults, as well as in the Huliaipole direction, where Russian forces launched 18 attacks.

Over the same period, Russia carried out 105 airstrikes, dropping 291 guided aerial bombs, launched 7,360 attack drones, and conducted 2,822 strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including 106 using multiple launch rocket systems.

Earlier, Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces reported striking 48 Russian vessels over a five-day period, including 13 shadow fleet ships near temporarily occupied Crimea during a coordinated overnight operation. The same campaign also disabled five electrical substations and hit 41 military targets across Crimea and other Russian-occupied territories.
