Ukraine conducted a massive coordinated overnight strike across temporarily occupied Crimea, Robert “Magyar” Brovdi, Commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, reported on July 10.

Drones hit 13 Russian shadow fleet vessels and disabled five critical electrical substations.

The maritime aspect of the operation targeted internationally sanctioned logistics platforms approaching the peninsula. Brovdi reported that drone operators intercepted 10 oil tankers, one bulk carrier, one ferry, and one marine tugboat on the water approaches to Crimea.

This latest wave brings the total number of Russian vessels struck by the Unmanned Systems Forces over the past 120 hours to 48 units, in an effort to degrade Moscow’s maritime supply lines, Magyar wrote.

In parallel to the naval strikes, Ukrainian drone units executed a targeted infrastructure campaign intended to disrupt the energy grid used by the Russian forces in Crimea.

According to the commander’s official statement, the overnight operation disabled ut five electrical substations across the peninsula, including the 110 kV “Berehove” facility in Molochnoe, the 110 kV “Saky” station, the 110 kV “Maynaky” facility in Yevpatoria, and both the 110 kV “Novoozerne” and 35 kV “Medvedeve” substations.

The coordinated strikes form part of an expanding asymmetrical deep-strike initiative targeting high-value Russian military assets behind the frontline. Brovdi noted that a total of 41 military targets were successfully neutralized within the operational depth of Crimea and southern occupied territories during the overnight window.

Meanwhile, along the tactical line of contact, Ukrainian drone units neutralized 426 Russian personnel and struck a total of 1,660 enemy targets within the same 24-hour period, according to the Unmanned Systems Forces' real-time tracking data.

The logistical pressure follows a recent report by Robert Brovdi, in which he stated that Ukrainian drone operations had cut Russian military cargo traffic by 71% along a critical land corridor to occupied Crimea.

According to Brovdi, Ukrainian fire control established over the R-280 Novorossiya and A-291 Tavrida highways forced the Russian military command to ban transport on the primary route, severely disrupting Moscow’s southern logistics and diverting supply lines onto less efficient bypass roads.
