The unit released footage and images showing a drone strike on a vessel moored at Berth No. 3 in Berdyansk, a port city on the coast of the Sea of Azov that Russia uses to support military logistics in southern Ukraine.

According to the regiment’s official Telegram channel, the vessel was targeted while loading or unloading cargo. The unit accompanied the footage with the statement: “Berdyansk, what’s happening with the cargo ship during loading/unloading, were people smoking on deck in an unauthorized place again? Twice. 422 working.”

According to the OSINT community CyberBoroshno, the strike occurred in the same area where a separate Ukrainian drone attack was recorded during the night of May 30-31. Analysts said the vessel was located at Berth No. 3 and appeared to have been hit near the bridge section.

CyberBoroshno reported that the ship may have been unloading military cargo at the time of the attack. The group also noted that Ukrainian forces previously struck another cargo vessel carrying military supplies near Berths No. 3 and No. 4 on May 14.

Berdyansk remains one of Russia’s key logistics hubs in occupied southern Ukraine. The port has been used to receive military equipment, ammunition, fuel, and personnel transported by sea from Russian ports, including Novorossiysk and facilities elsewhere in the Sea of Azov.

Earlier, Ukraine’s Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced the launch of the “Logistic Lockdown” program, an initiative aimed at expanding Ukraine’s ability to strike Russian logistics networks and military infrastructure beyond the frontline.

Ukrainian officials have increasingly highlighted the role of artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, and long-range drones in those operations.
