On October 21, the United States restored critical early-warning intelligence sharing with Ukraine regarding Russian ballistic missile launches after a Russian strike hit a 24-story residential building in Kyiv's Sviatoshynskyi district.
The attack struck near the 20th floor, triggering a fire that killed two people and injured two others. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the resumption of intelligence cooperation following meetings with US officials, emphasizing that early warnings provided civilians with crucial time to seek shelter from incoming ballistic missiles.
