The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported the attack on his official Telegram channel.

"Fortunately, at the moment of the air raid alert, all the children, together with the medics, were in the shelter. There were no casualties,” Fedorov wrote.

The strike damaged the facade and windows of the medical facility. Monitoring channels reported that the attack was carried out by a Russian Molniya drone, with the explosion heard across several districts of the city.

An air raid alert remained in effect in Zaporizhzhia, Ukrinform noted.

Zaporizhzhia's residential and medical facilities have repeatedly fallen within reach of Russian aerial strikes. In late July, five guided aerial bombs hit the city's public infrastructure, damaging residential buildings and healthcare institutions and wounding 18 people, including a child in serious condition.
