Russian Guided Bombs Hit Kharkiv Region Village, Killing Woman and Injuring Four

One woman was killed and four people were injured after Russian forces struck the village of Slatyne in Ukraine's Kharkiv region with guided aerial bombs on July 14.
According to Viacheslav Zadorenko, Head of the Derhachi City Military Administration, the attack occurred at around 10:00 a.m.

A woman died from her injuries while being transported to hospital by ambulance. Authorities said her identity is still being established.
A 72-year-old woman was hospitalized with a head injury and a fractured radius. Doctors assessed her condition as moderate.

Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov added that four people were injured in total and are receiving medical treatment.
“Enemy guided aerial bombs struck private residential properties, destroying at least eight houses. Four people were injured in the attack and are receiving medical assistance,” he said.
Emergency services continue search-and-rescue operations at the site, as preliminary information suggests at least one person may still be trapped beneath the rubble.

The latest attack follows a series of Russian strikes on the Kharkiv region in recent days.
On July 9, a Russian FPV drone killed the last remaining resident of Tokarivka Druha, a border village in the region. Zadorenko said the victim was a 57-year-old employee of Derhachi Central Hospital and the only person still living in the settlement.
A day earlier, on July 8, Russian missile and drone attacks targeted several districts of Kharkiv, killing two people and injuring at least 23 others, including four children. According to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, the strikes hit the Osnovianskyi, Nemyshlianskyi, and Kyivskyi districts of the city.
